On October 17 and 18, the event “Data, Payments, and User Protection in Financial Services in the Digital Consolidation of Markets” will take place in the Sal\u00f3n de Grados of the Faculty of Law at the University of Valladolid. I have the pleasure of co-directing this event alongside Pedro-Jos\u00e9 Bueso Guill\u00e9n. This event is the result of the joint collaboration of the areas of Commercial Law from the University of Valladolid and the University of Zaragoza through two research projects that focus on common themes, which will be discussed in four panels on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. We will have top-level speakers specializing in the topics to be addressed. \n \nThe first panel, moderated by Carmen Herrero Su\u00e1rez, is dedicated to the Digitalization of Markets, featuring Rafael Marim\u00f3n Dur\u00e1, Fernando Carbajo Casc\u00f3n, and F. Javier Mart\u00edn Clavo. The second panel, moderated by Jesus Quijano Gonzalez, will focus on the data market, with contributions from Flora Mart\u00edn Moral, Carmen Pastor Sempere, and Nacho Alamillo Domingo. On Friday the 18th, the panel dedicated to the payments market, moderated by Luis Velasco San Pedro, will include Chus Pe\u00f1as Moyano, Alberto L\u00f3pez Nestar, Luc\u00eda Alvarado Herrera, and Pedro-Jos\u00e9 Bueso Guill\u00e9n. The final panel, moderated by Reyes Pal\u00e1 Laguna and dedicated to the protection of users of financial services, will feature Andrea Castillo Olano, Luis M\u00aa Miranda Serrano, and Marina Echebarria Saenz.<\/p>\n\n
